Does Aboveboard ever send an AI reply automatically?
No. AI can prepare one editable suggestion when a permitted operator asks for it. A person reviews the exact words and presses Send in a separate action; the audit trail records when AI assisted.
Which social conversations can appear in the Inbox?
Supported official intake depends on the connected platform, account permissions, provider review and region. The channel settings show whether receiving and replying are available. Public comments and mentions may be reviewed in Aboveboard but sometimes must be answered on the platform.
How does AI use a private message?
AI reply drafting uses recent conversation context through secure, authorized access. It uses full private messages when available and falls back to stored previews; Aboveboard tells the reviewer which mode was used, and the result remains an editable draft.
What does an Inbox reply cost?
An AI reply draft costs 2 credits. X also uses 1 credit for each received message read and 1 credit for each reply because its API charges per request. Those X costs are acknowledged before the channel is enabled; current no-fee providers do not add a message charge.
How does Aboveboard avoid duplicate replies after a timeout?
Each send has a stable identity. If the provider may have accepted it but Aboveboard cannot confirm the final result, the Inbox blocks a blind resend and asks an operator to verify the conversation before recording sent or unlocking a new attempt.
