Content intelligence for the next decision

Turn publishing history into evidence for what to do next.

Aboveboard places meaningful audience shifts beside the posts that preceded them, labels how strong each connection is and finds stable patterns in your own work. Use the guidance in the composer without turning correlation into a promise.

  • Evidence before explanation
  • Uncertainty stays visible
  • A person approves the next post

Your Growth Story

Meaningful audience shifts, dated and attributed where the evidence allows.

See the audience curve, detected bumps or drops and the published work near each change. Open a signal to inspect the observed result, expected baseline, contributing posts and attribution method.

No unusual change is invented when the history is quiet. No post is credited when the evidence cannot support the connection.

Unexplained remains a valid result

01

Measured

The platform reports the follower or subscriber outcome against the post.

02

Derived

Official events support a direct time-based connection to published work.

03

Estimated

A labeled correlation points to the likeliest contributing posts.

04

Unexplained

The shift is real, but the available evidence does not justify crediting a post.

Post X-rays

Open one post and inspect what the pattern engine can actually see.

A Post X-ray keeps descriptive media traits, metric history, follower attribution and similar posts in one evidence view. Neutral traits can be corrected or hidden from future pattern mining for that account.

01

Descriptive, not judgmental

Traits describe what appears in the media; they do not label a post good or bad on their own.

02

Correctable by the account owner

Edit a value when the analysis missed context, or hide a trait from this account’s future comparisons.

03

Useful before a pattern exists

Open recent posts individually even when the account does not yet have enough comparable evidence for a pattern.

What is working—and what is not

Patterns arrive with the sample, confidence and receipts attached.

Aboveboard compares like with like inside one account, adjusts outcomes against that account’s baseline and reports both positive patterns and anti-patterns. Smaller or unstable samples stay unreported.

A pattern needs at least five comparable posts and must keep the same direction in the chronological stability check.

Your history, used carefully

Guidance comes from the account you are writing for.

Insights stay account-specific so one brand’s result does not silently become another brand’s rule. Every suggestion remains editable and advisory.

  1. 01

    Own-account pattern brief

Carry the supported format, hook, topics and observed timing into a blank, editable composer brief without copying the old post.

    The source post remains untouched.
  2. 02

    Best observed times

Use follower-weighted suggestions from your own settled posts once the account has enough evidence, shown in the workspace timezone.

Starter and above · empty below the evidence floor.
  3. 03

    Pre-publish pattern hint

See when a draft resembles a stable own-account pattern associated with a higher or lower adjusted outcome.

Pro and Scale · advisory only; never blocks review or publishing.

From evidence to action

Carry the useful pattern forward. Keep the decision human.

A supported pattern can begin a new draft or suggest a repeatable rhythm. Aboveboard keeps the brief, channel version, review and schedule connected while leaving the words and final approval with your team.

Peers without scraping

Official evidence where it exists. An honest absence where it does not.

Peer views use official platform APIs only and keep each platform’s eligibility, retention and analysis boundaries visible. Peer patterns show their sample, confidence and source and are always observational—not causal.

Aboveboard never fills a missing official route with scraped profiles, posts or media.
Official reads available or conditional

Supported within platform rules

Instagram · Threads · Bluesky · Mastodon

Instagram and Threads depend on eligible accounts and approved access. Bluesky and Mastodon use their official public interfaces.

Raw official statistics only

YouTube stays deliberately limited

YouTube

Public channel statistics remain raw and separately retained; they do not become cross-owner peer patterns or media analysis.

Unavailable or not implemented

The gap stays visible

TikTok · LinkedIn · X · Reddit

TikTok and LinkedIn lack the required official peer-read route for this feature. X and Reddit peer readers are not part of the current release.

Historical analysis, priced before it runs

Learn from the past without turning the bill into a surprise.

Eligible newly published media posts are analyzed automatically on paid plans. Bringing older media into Content Intelligence is optional: Aboveboard prices the selected history first, charges only settled uncached work and never charges again to open the same cached analysis.

New eligible media

Included on paid plans

Automatic analysis keeps the account’s pattern library current as eligible outcomes settle.

Content Intelligence questions

Evidence should make the next decision clearer—not sound more certain than it is.

Does Aboveboard claim that one post caused follower growth?

No. Growth Story labels each connection measured, derived, estimated or unexplained according to the available official evidence. Pattern and peer cards describe observed associations, not causal guarantees.

Does every published post become a pattern?

No. Eligible media posts can receive a Post X-ray, but a reportable pattern needs at least five comparable posts, settled outcomes and a consistent direction in the chronological stability check. Smaller or unstable samples stay unreported.

What does historical media analysis cost?

Optional historical analysis costs 1 credit per uncached photo and 3 credits per uncached video. Aboveboard shows the complete authorized quote first, charges only successful uncached work and charges 0 credits to reopen a cached result.

Can I correct what a Post X-ray says is in my media?

Yes. Account managers can edit a neutral descriptive trait or hide it from that account’s future pattern mining. The original media remains unchanged.

Does Aboveboard scrape competitor or peer accounts?

No. Peer views use official APIs only. When an official route, required permission or eligible account is unavailable, Aboveboard shows the limitation instead of scraping around it.

Can a pattern publish a post automatically?

No. A pattern can seed a blank editable composer brief or suggest a rhythm. Every resulting post still follows the workspace review and approval path; a rhythm never publishes by itself.

Start with one channel

See whether the workflow earns your trust.

The Free plan includes the complete loop on 1 channel: sources, opportunities, drafts, review and publishing. Use the included 60 credits for roughly 15 post drafts, or mix smaller actions. No card required.
